For the ITB Berlin-organized "ITB Späti" (a late-night convenience store), a wall design was created for the networking area in the style of a Berlin graffiti wall. A striking lettering and urban imagery revolving around the theme of travel transformed the space into a vibrant part of the event.

A Berlin wall for the ITB Späti

The design captured the unique character of a Berlin city wall while simultaneously highlighting the themes of travel, diversity, and encounter. A vibrant visual world was created using illustrations, graphic patterns, and elements from graffiti culture. Various panels depicted stylized travel destinations, reflecting the international focus of ITB Berlin. Dynamic patterns and bold colors created a sense of movement and lent the wall an urban, modern feel.

The centerpiece was a custom-designed ITB logo in an urban style. It formed the central visual element of the wall and created a clear connection to the event. The entire design was implemented indoors without the use of spray paint.

Live design as part of the event

The wall wasn't just a backdrop; it became an integral part of the event itself. Visitors could add their own tags and messages to the surface. This meant the design changed throughout the event, turning visitors into active participants in the artwork and leaving their own unique mark.

This resulted in a wall that not only reflected the atmosphere of the ITB Späti, but also made the encounters on site visible.
